Clubs with blitz on the programme 6

Blitz, lampo in Italian, sits beside the longer games at a handful of clubs in the area. In Milan, Scacchi a Colori publishes results of its Tuesday blitz evenings, and Paul Morphy lists blitz among the formats it plays. In Robecchetto con Induno, Cavalli & Segugi keeps a long-running rated blitz circuit whose stages are numbered on the tournament server, a sign of how regular it has been.

In Carugate the Alfiere club closes its yearly tournament with its customary blitz, Lissone started a lightning tournament named after the town in December 2025, and the Scacchistica Cerianese lists lightning events played in Cesate. Blitz evenings are often announced only a few days ahead, on the club’s site or in its chat group, so look there before setting out.
