The park's page for the giant chessboards says the two tiled boards are a free-to-use structure, always open, and that the giant pieces are collected at the Cascina Centro Parco from 9:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 17:00 against an identity card left with the staff. In the spring season the territorial chess associations run mini-tournaments, introductions and exhibitions there. The page carries no date. The boards stand in the park near the Aula Verde, about 500 metres from the Viale Fulvio Testi entrance; the page does not name the municipality of the boards. The address and the municipality (Sesto San Giovanni) are those of the Cascina Centro Parco, where the pieces are collected, not a surveyed position of the boards.
